Therapy is the start of a journey...
I hope I can come along with you as you take the next steps

Brief Background
I graduated with my MSW from University of Southern California in 2022, staying at my amazing internship at Creative Ways Therapy and achieving my full clinical licensure in DC, MD, VA, TX, WV, CO, and IL. I am now also available as a licensed clinical social worker for telehealth sessions in FL! While working at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), I read about a military sexual assault case that went unreported due to the difficulty of reporting procedures and the fear of repercussions from command. I felt called to do more in order to help actively support military members and clients with trauma. I returned to school to become a therapist. In my Master's program, I found that my lived experience, my personal mental health struggles, and my time being humbled and learning that I really don't know anything at all was more vital to becoming a good therapist than I ever would have guessed. Your story is your own; I am here to listen.
What is it like to work with me?
I adore working with my clients. I approach all cases from a client-centered viewpoint; this means that you are the expert on you and your story. You know what you are ready to "give" me, you will know when I'm wrong, and you will be able to decide how our therapeutic relationship forms.
So why come to me if you're already the expert? As a therapist, I serve only as the mirror and the vessel. This simply means I reflect things to you, and I hold space for you as you complete your therapeutic work. Sometimes, reflections are hard to hear and processing takes time. If you are ready to work on issues such as trauma, moral injury, and long standing negative core beliefs, it is usually better to not be alone in your work. As Dr. Leanne Campbell says, "no one should have to face their trauma alone."
